Military readiness inspection in Belarus: is there a danger for Ukraine?

The latest military exercises in Belarus, announced by self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko, do not pose any threat to Ukraine.
This was stated by Yuri Povkh, a spokesperson for the joint press center of the Northern Direction Defense Forces, on the air of the Yedynyi Novyny telethon.
– “This is actually called a test of troop readiness, which was announced by the self-proclaimed president of Belarus. Any enemy combat activity near the borders and in the depths of the operational area always carries a certain danger. It can be immediate or delayed. Such exercises lay down certain mechanisms for better functioning of the military machine,” he explained.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine already has the experience of February 2022, so such movements in Belarus do not greatly affect the overall combat readiness of the Armed Forces.
According to him, there are no signs of enemy strike groups near the border of Belarus and Ukraine.
On October 3, Belarus announced the next stage of the army’s combat readiness inspection. The Ministry of Defense noted that during the inspection, it is planned to move military equipment and personnel along roads in Minsk and Vitebsk regions. It is also planned to use aviation to support the actions of the Army.
Since September 1, Belarus has also been conducting the Battle Brotherhood-2023 military exercises, which are scheduled to end on September 6.
