Zelenskyy talked to Macron – not only about strengthening air defense

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed further steps to strengthen our air defense with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Head of State informed this on social media on Wednesday, October 18.
– Ukraine highly appreciates military assistance from France. President Macron and I focused on further steps to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, long-range and naval capabilities,” Zelenskyy said.
In addition, during the call, the two leaders discussed the Black Sea grain corridor and ways to protect it, as well as the next rounds of negotiations on the Peace Formula.
Regarding the situation in the Middle East, the presidents emphasized that civilians must be protected and that further escalation in the region is unacceptable.
At the end of September, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu said that Paris intends to expand defense cooperation with Kyiv. The country will not only provide used weapons and air defense systems, but will also jointly develop and manufacture them with Ukraine.
