Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate militant Babay, who had been fighting against Ukraine since 2014

One of the leaders of the terrorist “Donetsk People’s Republic” – Alexander Mozhayev, nicknamed Babay, was eliminated in the Zaporizhzhya sector of Ukraine.
This was reported by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Anatoliy Shtefan with the call sign Stirlitz.
According to him, the militant was killed in the Zaporizhzhya sector.
In addition, Russian Telegram channels also reported Babay’s death.
Note that there is no confirmed information about the death of the “DPR” militant.
What is known about the “DPR” militant Babay
Alexander Mozhayev was born in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation in 1977. In 1995, he joined the so-called Cossack army. He served in the Russian army.
According to media reports, Babay was tried for marijuana possession. In Russia, the militant was investigated on charges of rape and murder.
In 2014, Mozhayev joined the DPR terrorists and took part in the seizure of administrative buildings in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, Donetsk region. Back then, the militant promised to “take Kyiv in a few days.” Babay was often filmed by Russian propagandists for their stories. “Patriotic” T-shirts and mugs were printed with his image. This militant then became one of the symbols of the “Russian world”.
As a reminder, on October 7, the car of the head of the local branch of Putin’s United Russia, Volodymyr Malov, exploded in occupied Nova Kakhovka. Later it was reported that Malov died.
