Russian sabotage and intelligence groups try to break through the border of Ukraine 9-10 times a month
9-10 times a month, Russian sabotage and intelligence groups try to enter the territory of the border regions of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions with the Russian Federation.
This was announced by the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiі Naіev.
– The goal of the saboteurs is to conduct reconnaissance of our positions, to damage military or even civilian objects, – he explained.
According to him, these are professionally trained servicemen of special operations forces and the Main Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.
– That’s why we should always be ready. To this end, the joint actions of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, as well as the combined military units that cover the state border of Ukraine are being worked out, – Naіev added.
Earlier, the State Border Service stated that most attempts by Russian saboteurs to penetrate into the territory of Ukraine are recorded at the borders of the Sumy region.
