The Russian Federation usually changes the leadership of the occupation forces, including in the case of the appointment of General Mykhailo Teplinsky as commander of the Dnipro troop grouping in the Kherson direction, when it realizes that the previous tactics and strategy no longer work.

This opinion was expressed by Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson for the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, on the air of the United News telethon.

– “As practice shows, they change the commander when they are not satisfied with the previous tactics and strategy. Obviously, the events that were developing on the mainland left bank did not suit the enemy. The Zaporizhzhia direction also sank quite significantly in their understanding, and the broken teeth of the dragon did not stop the onslaught of the Defense Forces,” she emphasized.

She also noted that in the Kherson sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue counter-battery fighting, achieving quite convincing results.

– “That is why the occupiers usually change the commander before making a difficult decision at the front. And we are shaping the situation to make this decision as difficult as possible,” added Humeniuk.

At the end of October, British intelligence said that the change of commander of the Dnipro troop group, which is responsible for the occupied areas of Kherson region, including the eastern bank of the Dnipro, may indicate increased pressure on Russian forces by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
