After the loss of three Su-34s, the Russian Federation uses Shaheds more – an expert

After the loss of three Su-34 bombers, the Russians began to use aviation less on the left bank of the Dniprо.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, a military expert and former spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladyslav Seleznyov.
According to him, the occupiers constantly fire mortars and artillery, and actively use Shahed attack drones.
Shahed drones, with a declared range of at least 1,000 km, usually attack objects deep within the territory of Ukraine. And that is why it is surprising that they began to be used for strikes on the front-line zone.
– It is important for them to keep our defenders under pressure, and they deliberately spend such resources. Bombing aircraft cannot be lifted into the air because they do not know where our famous “wandering” air defense complex of the Patriot type is located, and they are forced to use long-range drones, – the expert said.
Earlier, Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said that the Russians are trying to find out what Ukrainian defenders used to shoot down three Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers at once on December 22.
On December 24, 2023, it was reported that the Ukrainian military destroyed a Su-34 fighter-bomber in the direction of Mariupol.
