The mass media first reported that Blinken had arrived in Kyiv on May 14.

Later, the US Secretary of State himself confirmed his arrival in Ukraine.

– Today I returned to Kyiv to demonstrate our unwavering support for Ukraine, which is defending its freedom from Russian aggression, – Antony Blinken wrote on the X social network.

Earlier, one of the American officials reported on the condition of anonymity that with his visit, Blinken intends to “send a powerful signal of reassurance to the Ukrainians, who are obviously in a very difficult situation.”
