Bombardment of Ukraine by drones on May 22: air defense destroyed all 24 unmanned aerial vehicles
Anti-aircraft defense repelled Ukraine’s drone attack on May 22.
This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, in the morning briefing.
Drone attack today
Today, the Russian troops engaged 24 Shahed-136/131 attack drones for the drone attack.
The launches were carried out from three directions – from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk district in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, Kursk and the currently occupied territory of Crimea.
The night attack of the invaders was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, electronic warfare units, anti-aircraft missile units and fighter aircraft of the Air Force.
In the end, anti-aircraft defense eliminated all 24 Shaheds.
They landed within Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy and Odesa regions.
