Bulgaria is going to officially send military aid to Ukraine for the first time – media

For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Bulgaria will officially send military aid to Ukraine.
It is reported by Reuters.
Thus, according to the publication, on December 9, the Bulgarian parliament approved the list of weapons drawn up by the interim government.
It is reported that this list is classified, but government officials said that Sofia will mainly transfer ammunition and light weapons.
In total, 148 out of 240 parliamentarians voted for the assistance. Socialists and a pro-Russian party called Revival did not vote.
Bulgaria is one of the few EU countries that have not yet sent aid after the Socialist Party, a coalition partner in the previous government, blocked the proposal in May.
However, media reported that in early November, the Bulgarian parliament authorized the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
