Zelenskyi came to Kherson
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in Kherson, which had just been liberated from Russian occupants.

The President’s Office confirmed the arrival of the Head of State to Kherson and published a number of photos.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi talked to the military and residents of the liberated city.
– We are moving forward. We are ready for peace, peace for our entire country,” the Head of State said addressing the military.
Zelenskyi also thanked NATO and other allies for supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russia.
Journalists asked the President where the Ukrainian army will go next. Volodymyr Zelenskyi replied that definitely not to Moscow, as Ukraine is not interested in the territories of another country.
When asked by journalist Dmytro Komarov why the President decided to come directly to Kherson, Zelenskyi replied that everyone was at risk, but it was important to support Kherson residents here, on the spot.
– It is important to be here. Everyone takes risks: the military takes risks every day, journalists take risks. We are talking about Kherson. I think it is necessary to be here and support Kherson residents,” the President of Ukraine emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi stressed that today Ukraine has to pay a high price for the victories at the front, because the enemy does not want to voluntarily return the seized.
– No one gives anything away so easily. The price of this war is high. People are wounded, a large number of dead. Therefore, (Russian troops – Ed.) withdrew or fled – we believe that they fled, because our army surrounded the enemy, and they were in danger. There were fierce battles, and the result is that we are in Kherson region today,” the Head of State noted.
Also, the President awarded the military with state awards.
A few minutes before Zelenskyi’s arrival, shelling could be heard on the outskirts. After Zelenskyi stopped speaking, several more explosions of artillery fire were heard over the city. According to eyewitnesses, the president stayed in the city for about half an hour.
To recap, on November 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Kherson. The local population met our warriors with flags, flowers and tears of joy. The citizens hugged the military and shouted: Glory to Ukraine! and Glory to the Armed Forces!
