Earlier, German Bild correspondent Julian Röpke reported on Biden’s arrival in Kyiv.
– Biden is in Kyiv, a city that should have been under Russian control for 360 days. What a strong sign to dictator Putin,” he wrote.
Biden in Kiew. Einer Stadt, die seit 360 Tagen unter russischer Kontrolle hätte stehen sollen. Was für ein starkes Zeichen an Diktator Putin.

The arrival of the American president in Ukraine was a real surprise. Since early morning, Kyiv’s city center has been blocked off, and traffic on the Shulyavsky Bridge has been restricted.
Earlier it was planned that on February 20, US President Joe Biden would arrive in Poland, where he would stay until February 22. And on Tuesday, February 21, he will give a speech at the Arkada Kubicka Royal Palace, during which he will address the war in Ukraine.
