During a telethon, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov responded to The Washington Post’s article about the alleged lack of qualified military personnel in Ukraine, which jeopardizes the spring counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

– We read these newspapers very carefully before February 24, when they all unanimously said that there would be trouble. None of this is true. Today, a new stage begins, and I would really like to see it not supported by our media. What they are saying is not true, and I mean “not true at all,” he emphasized.

Danilov acknowledges that the situation is complicated because Ukraine has been at war for a year with a country that is big in size, “but not in intelligence.”

– However, it is not a good idea to stir up the situation by providing information that is not true. Please note that there are no names, only some sources. And they are starting such a game now,” added the NSDC Secretary.

He assured that the Russian army is running out of breath, but not everyone understands what to do with a country that has nuclear weapons, so Ukraine is entering a difficult stage, which it will undoubtedly successfully pass with the support of its partners.
