Ukraine proposes to integrate the air and missile defense systems of Ukraine and NATO allies in the Black and Baltic Seas.

This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at the opening of the Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform in Bucharest.

According to the minister, Ukraine rejects any statements that present Crimea as a special region, something different from the rest of Ukraine.

– “All of this is Ukrainian land that Russia is trying to steal,” said Kuleba.

The minister emphasized that complete peace implies the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders and the return of the Crimean Tatars’ ability to live safely in Crimea.

Dmytro Kuleba stated that Crimea cannot remain under Russian control, as it will continue to use it as a launching pad for new aggression and establishing control in the Black Sea.

– We call for the integration of air and missile defense systems of Ukraine and NATO allies in the Black and Baltic Sea region. The events of the past year have demonstrated that security in the Baltic-Black Sea area is indivisible, and a threat to one is a threat to all,” said Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

He also believes that the Black Sea should be demilitarized so that all countries that respect international law can once again use it for trade and travel.
