Zelenskyy: Russia is tired forever – we have morally defeated it
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has acknowledged that Ukrainians are tired of the war. Still, it is rather physical fatigue, which is not the case with the Russians, who, according to him, will always be tired now that they have failed to break us.
He said this in an interview with Latin American media when asked about the fatigue of Ukrainians and the whole world from this war.
– I think it is very difficult for many Ukrainians. But compared to what? I think they would not be able to rest under the Russian flag. The Head of State stressed that people are ready to fight just to save Ukraine.
In his opinion, Ukrainians are now on the rise morally, and physically, of course, they are tired.
– But no one is as tired as the Russians are. I think they are tired morally. I think they are in shock. They are shocked that they are not able to take over Ukraine. They were not able to break people. And this is a terrible fatigue, absolutely justified historically for them. That is, they will never be a vigorous state again. They will be tired. A demotivated state… We have broken them morally. And at that moment, you forget about fatigue, – Zelenskyy assured.
Regarding the world’s fatigue from the war, Zelenskyy stressed that it cannot exist, at least morally, because “Ukraine is not tired of defending peace.”
– If Russia manages to capture us, it will be an example. This will be the most difficult challenge and the closest step to a world war. Because if there is another similar aggression on another continent and another state is allowed to win, it will start like any epidemic around the world. That’s why we can’t afford to be tired, despite the 500 days. Only sometimes you need to rest physically, – Zelenskyy concluded.
