Ukrainian intelligence has sources in Putin’s entourage – Budanov
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said that now Ukrainian spies know about their adversary.
He said this in an interview with Reuters.
Budanov noted that he accurately predicted the Russian invasion before the start of a full-scale war last year.
– We have our own sources. In Putin’s closest offices, so to speak. That is why we usually know what is happening, – said the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
Russian mass media reported that in April, a court in Moscow arrested Kyrylo Budanov in absentia on charges of terrorism. Attempts were made on him several times and, according to the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, they will be attempted again.
As for the current situation in Russia, an intercepted survey conducted by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs indicates that the leader of the Wagner PMC militants, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has support inside Russia.
