It is noted that the document was returned on October 10 with the President’s signature.
What is known about the restoration of electronic declaration
Electronic declaration for government officials was canceled after the beginning of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
On September 5, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in its entirety draft law No. 9534 on the restoration of electronic declaration for officials. At the same time, deputies did not approve one of the main amendments to the law, namely, the immediate opening of the register of declarations.
Subsequently, a petition was published on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in which Volodymyr Zelenskyy was urged not to sign the draft law approved by the Verkhovna Rada . The petition gathered the necessary 25,000 votes in record time – three hours.
On Sept. 12, the president vetoed legislation that would have kept restrictions on electronic filing.
On September 20, the Verkhovna Rada supported the amended law on the restoration of e-declaration with open registers during martial law in Ukraine.
