On Azovstal in Mariupol civilians can remain – the officer of the Azov regiment

Civilians may still remain at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, but this information is still being clarified. Azov Regiment Intelligence Officer Ilya Samoilenko told a news conference that he could not claim that all civilians had been evacuated from the plant.
– We can’t say for sure whether everyone was evacuated, because no international organization or government structure came here to the territory of Azovstal. There are no special equipment to dismantle the debris, – he said.
According to him, the Russian army is intensively shelling the territory of the Azovstal plant. In just one night, the Azov Regiment counted more than 25 sorties, including three enemy strategic bombers. Barrel artillery, tanks, mortars are working, enemy infantry and snipers are trying to storm, Ilya Samoilenko added.
Azov Regiment Intelligence Officer said that three Ukrainian defenders had been killed and six others wounded in a recent shelling by the Russian army. Samoilenko commented that this is the price of evacuating civilians from Azovstal in Mariupol.
