Olexander Svishchov said when Ukraine’s the largest sports and entertainment center will open in Lviv

Олександр Свіщов розповів, коли у Львові відкриється найбільший в Україні спортивно-розважальний центр

The war has negatively impacted the entire Ukrainian business. But even in such harsh conditions, the country’s economy must exist and develop. Therefore, a new sports and entertainment center is expected to open in Lviv soon.

This was stated by the owner of the Lviv SEC Leoland, Olexander Svishchov, reports RBC-Ukraine.

Leoland – the largest sports and entertainment center in Ukraine, was supposed to start working this spring. But after a full-scale russian invasion, plans had to be revised.

– From the first day, we have begun to help the frontline and the internally displaced people. Now this remains one of our priorities. We use all opportunities to help organizationally, financially, and informationally, since we believe that each such deed brings our country closer to victory, – said Olexander Svishchov.

According to his words, another important task is to complete the construction and equipment of the complex as soon as possible and open its doors to visitors.

– We didn’t stop working on the Project even after the russian invasion. Construction and restoration of the building continue. We try to fulfill on time all obligations to partners and contractors and also pay taxes in full. I believe that this is how every responsible business should act, – assured the owner of the Sports and Entertainment Center.

According to him, the opening of the complex will take place soon. In June, a tennis school, the football center for children Footbik, as well as the scientific and technical laboratory MakerSpace will start working.

Then, in autumn, a fitness center, a dance school, an event hall, amusement parks for children, a cinema restaurant and a food court will open. They even equipped a bomb shelter to make staying in the complex safer.

Svishchov also notes that an important part of the business social responsibility during the war is the preservation of job positions, the continuation of wages payment and the fulfillment of all obligations to employees.

– We have retained the staff; it is more than 200 people. In addition, before the opening, we began to create new job opportunities for coaches, administrators and managers. In total, we will offer more than 400 jobs in the complex, – the businessman said.

Also, many employees of the SEC became volunteers, some joined local TDF (Territorial Defence Forces), and some went to defend Ukraine at the frontline. The company’s owner hopes they will all return to civilian life this year.

I believe that we will soon return Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk. Before the end of the year, we must kick out the invaders from our territory and begin to restore the country actively. And then we will definitely hold international sports tournaments, – the businessman concluded.
