The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Gaidai, stressed that the fighting in Severodonetsk is already underway in the industrial zone, and Ukrainian defenders control only the territory of the Azot plant.
According to him, Russian troops are advancing along the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway, and nearby towns and villages are under constant fire.
In particular, Lysychansk has been suffering from enemy fire all day, and there are civilians affected. It is currently impossible to determine the exact number of wounded, Gaidai said.
