Malyar told whether there are debts for “combat” payments to the Ukrainian military

The Ministry of Defense has paid all the money to the Ukrainian military, who serve and defend the homeland from the Russian army. Currently, there are no arrears regarding payments to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar on the ICTV channel.
– There are no debts. We hold briefings every Thursday. And starting from February 24, there are no arrears in payments. Why am I talking from February 24th? It was then that additional payments, called combat payments, were added to all military personnel – this is UAH 30,000. And another 100,000 hryvnias to those who are directly in the war zone. There are no debts. Twice a month, the Ministry of Defense transfers money to the troops, and those already to the military.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Defense noted that there are isolated cases when servicemen were not issued additional payments in the amount of UAH 100,000 because they did not fulfill their duties in the combat zone.
– Indeed, there are isolated cases when documents are incorrectly or incorrectly executed. This is what the commander does, to be clear. For its part, the Ministry of Defense fully remits these funds in the existing request from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the payment of financial support. The only thing is that there are movements of money from the troops to the military personnel directly. There are questions that arise in specific cases where it was improperly registered, or not registered at all, that a person was in a combat zone because he did not fulfill his duties on the spot. All information goes to the Ministry of Defense. In these specific cases, we are dealing with it, – emphasized Malyar.
