Russian units around Liman are threatened by encirclement – ISW

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to expand their counteroffensive east of the Oskol River and north of the Siverskiy Donets River. This will allow the Ukrainian Defense Forces to encircle Russian units around Liman.
This is reported by analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
It is noted that the persistent advance of the AFU to the east along the northern bank of the Siverskiy Donets could eliminate Russian positions around Liman and open approaches to Lysychansk and then to Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region.
U.S. experts believe that Russian units in Liman consist largely of BARS (National Army Battle Reserve) reservists and remnants of units after the AFU counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region.

Earlier, the Austrian military analyst Tom Cooper reported that a decisive resolution of the offensive of the Armed Forces took place between Izyum, Oskol, Kamianka, and Studenko of the Kharkiv region.
