Large-scale shelling of Ukraine on November 23: Shmyhal convened an operational meeting of the government

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reacted to the large-scale missile attack on our country by Russia on November 23, noting that the terrorist state has once again demonstrated its essence to the world.
In his Telegram channel, he noted that the missile strikes hit the energy infrastructure, so emergency power cuts were introduced throughout the country. This is a necessary step to avoid accidents and imbalance of the system, while repair crews have already begun to restore the damaged infrastructure.
– In the Government, we held an operational meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions and institutions of Ukraine abroad with the participation of the heads of the Ministry of Energy and Ukrenergo. We have prioritized the supply of energy equipment from partners to Ukraine, in particular for the repair of damaged infrastructure and the provision of the Fortitude Points,” Shmyhal stressed.
The Prime Minister added that he had instructed the Ministry of Energy to establish close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and customs around the clock. Power equipment should be delivered to Ukraine quickly and smoothly.
Earlier, Ukrenergo reported that there would be emergency power cuts in Ukraine during the day.
