At the end of the week, energy workers managed to stabilize the operation of Ukraine’s energy system.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this on his Facebook page.
Currently, the capacity deficit remains at the level of about 20%. The head of the government noted that more than a thousand specialists work daily to repair networks.
According to him, the EBRD and the Netherlands allocated €372 million to NEC Ukrenergo for the prompt repair of damage caused by Russian missile attacks.
In addition, Norway allocated €200 million to NK Naftogaz of Ukraine for the purchase of gas. Another €300 million for these purposes is allocated by the EBRD, and the Cabinet of Ministers transferred UAH 12.7 billion to Naftogaz for additional purchases of gas for storage.
