Ukrainian army is now even more powerful: France hands over MLRS to LRU

LRU multiple launch rocket systems announced earlier by France have arrived in Ukraine.

This was announced by Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov on Twitter.

– The fourth brother of the Long Hand Family, LRU from France, has arrived in Ukraine!

The Ukrainian army is now even more powerful to deter and destroy the enemy. This is a visible result of the friendship of Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron,” the minister wrote.

Reznikov thanked French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorne, the French government and people.

On November 20, Lecornu said that the country had handed over two batteries of Crotale SAMs and two LRU MLRS to the Ukrainian forces.

Also, in early November, the head of the French Defense Ministry announced the transfer of six Caesar air defense systems to Ukraine.

According to Lekarniou, this is the equipment that French President Emmanuel Macron promised to transfer to Ukraine as part of military assistance.
