60 missiles in the morning: Ignat on massive shelling of Ukraine

As of 11:00 on December 16, 2022, the occupiers fired 60 missiles at the territory of Ukraine.
This was announced by the spokesman for the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.
According to Ignat, the enemy launched missiles from Tu-97 aircraft (X-555 and X-101 missiles). It is also known about the launch of Kalibr from the Black Sea.
The enemy also launched S-300 and X-22 missiles from Tu-22Mz bombers.
– “The enemy wanted to massively distract the attention of air defense, to keep us in a certain tension, so that as many of its killer weapons – missiles – flew and hit their targets as possible,” Ihnat said.
The presence of MiG-31K, carriers of Daggers, was also noticed in the sky.
Ignat added that our air defense worked well, but the exact number of enemy missiles shot down is unknown.
– Air defense worked well, we will report the results, – Ignat said.
