In Odesa region, due to an enemy attack, emergency power outages are used
Due to the missile attack of the Russian enemy, emergency power outages are applied in Odesa region.
This is reported in DTEK Odesa Electric Networks.
Energy experts emphasize that cutting off power to consumers is a forced preventive step that will allow to avoid significant damage to the energy infrastructure if enemy missiles hit the targets.
Also, DTEK emphasized that after emergency shutdowns, the lines will be connected gradually, one at a time, to avoid overloading the network.
Updated at 08.18. According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Maksym Marchenko, as a result of the missile attack, several power lines and a support were damaged in the region. Energy workers have already started repair work.
Hourly emergency power outages are currently in effect.
Maksym Marchenko emphasized that our air defense forces shot down six missiles and one drone in the sky over Odesa Region.
