This is irreversible: Zelenskyy tells about Russian losses in the Bakhmut sector
The aggressor country Russia is suffering numerous losses among its military in the battles against Ukraine in the Bakhmut sector. Every day, Russian soldiers try to storm the city, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold a strong defense.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in a video address on the evening of March 12. According to him, Ukrainian soldiers have eliminated more than 1,100 enemy fighters.
– These are Russia’s irreversible losses there, near Bakhmut. At least 1.5 thousand more enemy sanitary losses are wounds incompatible with continuing fighting. Dozens of units of enemy equipment were also destroyed. More than 10 Russian ammunition depots have been burned, – the Head of State noted.
Over the past months, Russian troops have been trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian defenders in Bakhmut – over 200 Russian soldiers were killed in action in the last 24 hours alone.
