Ukrainian troops repel over 45 Russian attacks in Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors – General Staff
The enemy is trying to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions.
Over 45 attacks by the Russian army were repelled during the day thanks to the coordinated actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the heroism of each soldier. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka in Donetsk region remain at the epicenter of the fighting.
According to the General Staff, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted five strikes on the areas of concentration of occupants’ personnel and military equipment over the past day.
At the same time, Ukrainian defenders shot down an enemy reconnaissance drone, and missile and artillery units hit an area where enemy manpower was concentrated.
