Budanov told how long the counteroffensive would last
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin soon. Ukraine has already received the necessary minimum amount of weapons and military equipment.
This was stated by the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with foreign journalists.
– Many civilians are still under Russian occupation, and we cannot waste any more time. We already have a minimum of weapons and other equipment. All I can say is that it will start soon – said the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
He noted that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine need a lot of weapons and ammunition to liberate the entire Ukrainian territory from the Russian invaders. Budanov claims that fierce battles during a counteroffensive can last for a long time due to the defense of the Russian troops.
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence also commented on the conflict between the leader of the PMK Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He stated that Prigozhin is afraid of losing influence, is fighting for his power, life and survival of the company.
