The water level in the NPP cooling pond is normal: Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration on the consequences of hydroelectric power plant explosion

In Zaporizhzhia region, the water level in the lower reaches is 13.36 metres, which is 1.14 metres below the normal level. In total, since the dam at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was blown up, the water level has dropped by 3.80 metres.
This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. According to the Regional Military Administration, the water level in the station’s cooling pond at Zaporizhzhia NPP is normal.
It is noted that there are currently no interruptions in the supply of drinking water to the population.
According to the results of monitoring studies of drinking water quality, there are no deviations from the normative indicators.
No foul weather events have been recorded in the Kakhovka reservoir over the past day. The Zaporizhzhia Regional Water Administration assures that they are monitoring the situation after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by Russian troops.
