Saved by the wall that withstood the explosion: terrible consequences of missile strike in the Odesa region
Odesa region is recovering from the terrorist missile attack of Russians. In addition to energy infrastructure facilities, the occupiers hit regional residential buildings. Two people were injured. About a dozen houses were destroyed.
Mrs. Hanna tells how she and her sister miraculously survived. On Monday, during the enemy missile attack, they were in the house when a Russian missile fell five meters from the house. The blast wave was so powerful that it uprooted trees and completely destroyed two more neighboring houses. Hanna Ivanivna, together with her sister were saved by the wall of their own house, which miraculously withstood the blow.
The blast wave also destroyed Serhii’s house. He was resting at home when the rocket hit. He woke up when the ceiling began to fall. And immediately rushed to look for his children, who were playing in his truck at that moment.
As a result of the missile strike, two people were wounded – they were workers who were making repairs in the house next to Hanna’s.
Neighbors came to help the residents. Together they are patching up the smashed roofs and covering the windows. Local authorities promise to help with money.
Currently, more than 10 families had to be relocated to temporary housing provided by the local authorities. But people do not complain. They say it is good that everyone is alive and the housing will be rebuilt.
