A cluster munition detonated: a 17-year-old teenager died near the Dnipro
A 17-year-old boy was killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region after touching a cluster munition. The explosive detonated and killed the young man.
This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko. According to him, the tragedy happened in the Synelniky district. This is already the eighth death in the region due to ammunition.
– I’m asking again! Please do not approach explosives left behind by enemy fire. Do not go to forest strips and other places where there may be remnants of cluster munition.
Reznichenko urged citizens to call rescuers or the police if you come across suspicious objects. According to him, cluster munitions are insidious because they remain dangerous for some time after their arrival.
