The occupiers fired at the Sloviansk TPP: the equipment was damaged, a fire broke out

In the morning of September 17, Russian troops shelled the Sloviansk TPP. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.

According to him, the equipment at the station was damaged. There was also a fire, which is already being extinguished by rescuers.

In addition, due to the enemy shelling of the Sloviansk TPP in the city of Mykolaivka, water supply interruptions began.

Pavlo Kyrylenko emphasized that the occupiers are deliberately targeting infrastructure facilities in the region, trying to cause as much damage as possible to the civilian population.

We will remind you that last week the Russian army hit Kharkiv TPP-5 with missiles. Then, after the explosions, the light went out in a number of regions of Ukraine.

According to military expert Mykhailo Zhirokhov, attacks on such infrastructure, in particular on the thermal power plant (TPP), are the next stage of the escalation of hostilities.
