Odesa region under missile attack: anti-aircraft defense was activated in the region

In the Odesa region, the sounds of explosions are heard – this is the activation of our anti-aircraft defense.
Updated at 1:44 p.m. The Operational Command South reported that in the morning Russia fired missiles at Odesa region from tactical aviation.
So, Su-24 aircraft fired four anti-radar missiles, probably Kh-31P, from the sea.
Thanks to effective combat work, the missiles were destroyed over the sea, but the debris and blast wave damaged a kindergarten on the coast and several private houses.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The command emphasizes that this rocket fire is yet another reminder of how dangerous the sea coast is.
Updated at 11:15 am. According to Vitaly Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the missiles that the Russians are often firing one by one at the moment are probably anti-radar missiles – they are used to detect our air defense systems.
Currently, there is no official information about downed Russian missiles in the sky over Odesa region.
Earlier, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Nataliya Gumenyuk, said that the Russians wanted to find out whether Ukraine had Patriot systems in service with the missile attack on March 9.
