Israel provided Ukraine with intelligence to combat drones – NYT

Israel provided Ukraine with the intelligence necessary to destroy Iranian drones.

This was reported by The New York Times with reference to one of the Ukrainian officials.

We will remind that on October 18, Ukraine sent Israel an official note with a request to urgently provide air defense systems.

Israel rejected the request, but promised to provide early warning systems instead of air defense.

At the same time, the publication cites the words of the adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Yuriy Sak, that Israel may be losing the opportunity to hone its tactics for countering threats on its own territory.

-Iranian drones flying around Ukrainian cities are not intended for Ukraine, because they are designed as a mass tool for striking Israel, – says Yuriy Sak, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

According to him, Ukraine is a kind of testing ground for Iranian drones.

Iran, convinced Yuriу Sak, after the strikes on Ukraine, determines the weak points of its drones in order to improve them and sooner or later use them against Israel.
