He is afraid of criticism: Scholz about Putin’s absence at the G20 summit

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin refused to participate in the G20 summit due to expected criticism of Russia from other countries.
This opinion was expressed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. According to him, it would be good if Putin came to the conference.
However, then he would have to face all the questions and criticisms formulated by many countries of the world. Olaf Scholz suggested that, most likely, precisely because of this, there will be no Russian dictator.
At the same time, according to the German chancellor, Putin’s absence will not affect the course of the discussion of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The world community has clearly made it clear to the Kremlin that military escalation is unacceptable, so steps must be taken, in particular by the Russian authorities and the President of the Russian Federation, towards proposals that make it possible to establish peace.
Olaf Scholz explained that this is why Western countries are working hard to create the opinion that international rules must be followed and that the law must prevail.
As a reminder, the G20 summit in Indonesia will last for two days – November 15-16. Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be at the meeting, he will be replaced by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyу will participate in the G20 summit. His video address will be broadcast online on Tuesday, November 15.
