The Seimas of Lithuania unanimously recognized PMС Wagner as a terrorist organization

On Tuesday, March 14, the Seimas of Lithuania unanimously recognized the Russian private military company Wagner as a terrorist organization.
This is reported by LRT.
The resolution states that PMС mercenaries pose a threat to state and public security. The document also calls on other countries to follow Lithuania’s example.
– Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Wagner’s mercenaries have been committing systematic serious aggressive crimes – killing and torturing Ukrainian civilians, bombing houses and other civilian objects, which is tantamount to terrorism, – the document says.
It is noted that the company, founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessman close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, is a shadow tool of the Russian government.
In addition, the resolution adds that the Wagner PMC receives military equipment from the Russian government free of charge, including Grad missile systems, tanks and armored vehicles, and receives training from the Russian Military Intelligence Service.
Earlier, the mass media reported that the Russian private military company of Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin began to recruit patients from psychoneurological dispensaries.
