French President Emmanuel Macron called on Chinese leader Xi Jinping to use his influence to restore peace in Ukraine.

– I know I can count on you to bring Russia back to its senses and bring everyone to the negotiating table,- Macron told Xi Jinping during the meeting.
Today, April 6, Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron in Beijing. Before the meeting, the French leader wrote on Twitter that “China must play an important role in building peace.”
