US leaked documents have serious inaccuracies – British Ministry of Defense

The leak of US “classified information” has demonstrated a serious level of inaccuracy. This was stated by the UK Ministry of Defense.
In a brief statement on its Twitter page, the British ministry said readers should be wary of claims that have the potential to spread misinformation.
— Широко відомий витік ймовірної секретної інформації США продемонстрував серйозний рівень неточності. Читачі мають бути обережними і не приймати за чисту монету твердження, які потенційно можуть поширювати дезінформацію, — йдеться у повідомленні.

In early April, The New York Times reported that the Pentagon was investigating the posting on some social media of allegedly classified military documents containing US and NATO plans to strengthen the Ukrainian army ahead of a counteroffensive.
It is noted that the documents did not contain specific battle plans, such as how, when, and where Ukraine intends to launch a counteroffensive.
The President’s Office called the appearance of the allegedly secret documents a “standard game” of the Russian special services. According to Mykhailo Podolyak, the appearance of these documents on social media was aimed at creating a split and sowing distrust among Ukraine’s allies.
On April 8, it became known that the U.S. Department of Justice had launched an investigation into the alleged leak of U.S. classified documents that had recently appeared online.
