To maintain the tempo of the counterattack. Wallace called on Ukraine to strengthen the mobilization of youth

Former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace believes that Ukraine needs to increase mobilization in order to maintain the pace of the counteroffensive and not give Russia time to restore resources.
This is reported by The Telegraph.
– Ukraine’s counteroffensive is successful. Slowly but surely, the Ukrainian armed forces are breaking through the Russian lines. Sometimes yard by yard, sometimes village by village, Ukraine has momentum and moves forward, – he said.
According to him, the Russian army is cracking, while Ukraine has learned new tactics to overcome minefields and is destroying Russian headquarters with long-range missile strikes.
-We are witnessing the beginning of the battle for Crimea, – added Wallace.
At the same time, the former head of the British Ministry of Defense noted that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin expects that time and the division of the international community will help the Russian Federation to win. Wallace emphasized that Ukraine should continue the pace of the counteroffensive, so the partners should provide it with more military support, including long-range missiles.
According to the former minister, the best way to rally the international community is to demonstrate success.
– Ukraine can also play its role. The average age of soldiers at the front is over 40 years. I understand the desire of President Zelenskyу to preserve the youth for the future, but the fact is that Russia is covertly mobilizing the entire country. Putin knows that the pause will give him time to build a new army. So, just as Britain did in 1939 and 1941, perhaps it’s time to reassess the scale of mobilization in Ukraine, – Wallace said.
Earlier, British Defense Minister Grant Shаpps said that Putin cannot win the war, but he also cannot find a way out of it.
