Targeted missile strikes were fired on Lviv – Sadovyi

On April 18, the Russian troops fired targeted missile strikes on Lviv.

Andrii Sadovyi, the mayor of the city, reported this information.

– Relevant services have already departed to the place. We are finding out more detailed information, – Andrii Sadovyi said.

Reports about the explosions began to be published by local media at 8:35 p.m.

The head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, reacted immediately to the situation.

The head of the RMA urged residents and guests of the region not to take photos and videos, not to spread assumptions from unverified telegram channels and groups, and wait for official information.

According to Andrii Sadovyi, there were five targeted missile strikes on the regional center; Maksym Kozytskyi previously informed about four missile strikes. The information is currently clarified.

As later said CEO of state-owned Ukrainian Railways, Oleksandr Kamyshin, several rockets have hit near the railway facilities:

– There are no casualties among passengers and railway workers. Both the station team and the train crews have worked clearly. Train traffic in Lviv has resumed, but there will be slight train delays.

According to Oleksandr Kamyshin, Ukrainian Railways will restore the damaged infrastructure.

Currently, local authorities have blocked traffic on some sections of Levandivska and Shevchenko streets.

The full-scale war in Ukraine lasts yet for 54 days.
