If the Russian Federation captures Severodonetsk, people at the “Азот” factory will become hostages of occupiers – Gaidai

The invading army of the Russian Federation threw all its forces to occupy the entire Luhansk region in the near future. Fighting continues in all directions.

The head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergiy Gaidai reported about it in the Telegram-channel.

– In the Severodonetsk industrial zone many protective constructions are already destroyed, we don’t exclude a possibility of departure to new more strengthened positions, – Sergiy Gaidai declared.

He noted that in the event of a possible occupation of Severodonetsk, those residents of the city who are hiding in the shelters of the “Азот” factory will become hostages of the Russians and will have access only to the occupied part of Luhansk region.

– In the recently occupied territories, the Russian army has already begun so-called filtering. They hunt for people involved in military affairs, and relatives of such categories of people are also in sight. Men are forced to go to war against Ukraine, – the head of the Luhansk regional military administration told.

Sergiy Gaidai added that Lysychansk was under heavy shelling by Russian troops.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar said that currently the main targets of the Russian occupiers are four Ukrainian cities – Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.
