The assault on Bogorodichny and the offensive on Verkhnyokamyansk failed in the hands of the Russian military – Armed Forces of Ukraine
During the past day, the Ukrainian military destroyed the plans of the enemy in two directions in the East.
So, on July 1, the Russians stormed Bogorodichna in the Sloviansk direction, but they did not succeed.
Currently, the occupiers are conducting defensive battles in this direction.
The Russian army shelled the areas of Dolyna, Dibrivne, Kurulka, Mazanivka, Bogorodichne, Krasnopillya, Adamivka, Sukha Kamianka, Husarivka and Krynychne settlements with artillery.
In addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine adds, the enemy is trying to improve the logistical support system in the Sloviansk direction.
The Russian offensive in the Lysychansk direction also failed the day before.

In particular, Ukrainian defenders forced the Russian army to retreat after an unsuccessful offensive in the direction of Verkhnokamyanskyi.
This village in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region, as well as Zolotarivka in the Popasnyan district of the Luhansk region, was shelled by the Russian invaders on July 1 with barrel and rocket artillery.
The districts of Bilogorivka, Mayaki, and Donetske in the Kramatorsk direction were under fire from the same types of weapons.
