Rocket attack on Vinnytsia: 21 people died, 52 were hospitalized, among them are children

Russian invaders launched rocket attacks on Vinnytsia on July 14.

Updated at 20.55. 23 people died, including three children. Hospitalized – 67 victims, including three children. A total of 117 people applied to medical institutions. 29 people are still wanted.

– Occupiers are real terrorists. Their only goal is to kill us in our peaceful cities, – noted the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

Updated at 20.00. The number of people killed as a result of shelling in Vinnytsia increased to 23 people. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

115 people sought medical help, 64 people were hospitalized, including two children. 34 people are in serious condition, five people are in critical condition. The search for 42 people with whom there is no contact continues.

Updated at 18.10. Five people out of 52 hospitalized as a result of rocket attacks on Vinnytsia are in critical condition. 34 people, including three children, are in serious condition. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi.

The police received 42 reports of missing persons. As a result of rocket attacks in the center of Vinnytsia, 36 infrastructure objects were damaged.

– Regarding the analysis of debris. We understand that they will be completed today, – noted Monastyrskyi.

The adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that the number of dead as a result of the Russian shelling of Vinnytsia has increased to 21 people, including three children. 52 people were injured, including three children. In total, 115 injured persons turned to medical institutions.

46 people are considered missing.

Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service clarified that as of 4:35 p.m., 91 people sought medical help. Also, according to their data, among the 52 hospitalized, four are children, 34 people are in serious condition. The rescuers claim that 42 are missing, not 46.

Updated at 16.11. The State Emergency Service reports that as of 3:55 p.m., the number of people hospitalized as a result of the rocket attack on Vinnytsia reached 51, including two children. 34 of them are in serious condition.

55 buildings and 40 cars were also damaged.

Updated at 15.25. The police hotline received 15 reports of missing people who were in the vicinity of enemy missiles in Vinnytsia. This was announced by the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, in Telegram.

He noted that now these people are not in touch.

According to him, more than 400 police officers continue to work at the scene.

Updated at 13:43. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the number of dead in Vinnytsia has increased to 17, including two children.

The fire at the parking lot has been extinguished, rescue operations are ongoing.

Updated at 13:25. As of 1:00 p.m., 12 people are known to have died. About 90 victims sought help at medical institutions, about fifty of them are in serious condition.

The National Police reported that the Russians destroyed the premises of the medical center.

In addition, a mobile call point was deployed in Vinnytsia (37 Zamostyanska St.) and hotlines for searching for missing people were opened: 050-222-03-26 or 59-42-00.

Updated at 12:23. The National Police reports that as of 12.10, 30 people were injured as a result of a rocket attack.

Updated at 12.10. As a result of the shelling of the center of Vinnytsia, it is already known about eight dead, among them a small child. There are also wounded. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

Updated on 12.07. The head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, Serhiy Borzov, said that four more missiles over the Vinnytsia region were shot down by air defense.

Updated at 11:36. The National Police reported that Russian rockets hit an office building in Vinnytsia. Social infrastructure facilities and residential buildings nearby were also damaged.

So far, we know about six wounded and two dead, including a small child.

Updated at 11.30. Serhiy Borzov, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, reported that as a result of the rocket attack on Vinnytsia, there were dead and wounded. He asks people to stay in shelters until the alarm goes off.

Updated at 11.25. The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, confirmed the hitting of civilian objects in Vinnytsia.

– Another terrorist act by a terrorist country in Vinnytsia. The rocket attack on a peaceful city by the Russians – locations where there are no military facilities, he noted.

Earlier, the Vinnytsia City Council reported on explosions in the city. People were urged not to leave their shelters and not to share photos and videos.

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morgunov confirmed the information about the shooting in the city. Currently, emergency services have gone to the scene.

Local Telegram channels reported 3-4 explosions in Vinnytsia. Thick smoke rises above the city.
