The Ukrainian Armed Forces foiled the attempts of the occupiers to storm Kamianka and Vugledar in Donetsk region
The fiercest battles with the Russian occupiers continue in Donetsk region: the enemy is trying to storm populated areas, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are striking back with devastating blows.

So, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy is trying to prevent the advance of our troops to the state border.
Under fire again: Kharkiv, Dergachi, Pechenygi, Prudyanka, Ruski Tyshki, Pytomnyk, Korobochkine. The occupiers launched airstrikes near Verkhniy Saltov and Rubizhny.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Russian enemy fired artillery near Novomykolaivka, Dibrovny, Kostyantynivka, Bogorodychny, Mazanivka, Virnopilly, Nova Dmitrivka and others. Made an airstrike near Bogorodichny.
In the Donetsk direction, enemy units continue shelling Donetsk, Siversk, Verkhnyokamyansky, Hryhorivka, Spirny and other settlements. The enemy is trying to launch an assault near Hryhorivka, the fighting continues.
Our military successfully repulsed the assaults in the Verkhnokamyansky, Spirny, and Serebryanka districts.
In the direction of Bakhmut, shelling was recorded near Berestovo, Kurdyumivka, Veselaya Dolyna, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vershina, Travnevo, and the territory of the Vuglegirsk thermal power plant.
The enemy tried to go on an assault near Novoluhanskyi, Semihirya and the Vuglehirskaya Thermal Power Station, but was unsuccessful and retreated.
In the Avdiivsk, Kurakhivsk, Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, the occupiers shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kamianske, etc.
Ukrainian soldiers nullified all attempts of enemy assaults in the areas of Kamianka, Novomykhailivka and Vugledar settlements. The invaders retreated with losses, the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized.
In the South Buz direction, mutual shelling continues with the use of barrel and rocket artillery. The enemy launched an air strike near Potemkino.
The enemy’s naval group continues to block civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
Earlier, military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated that today Russia is not capable of escalating the conflict in Ukraine, as it does not have the necessary forces and means to do so.
