Fired from Belgorod: an enemy missile was shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine over Kharkiv region

Ukrainian defenders shot down a Russian missile in the Kharkiv region.

This was announced by the Deputy Chief of the National Police of the region Serhiy Bolvinov.

– Investigators discovered a rocket with which the Russians tried to fire at the Kharkiv region. The Armed Forces shot down this missile in the region, – he said.

Bolvinov says that the enemy fired from the territory of Belgorod at about 4 am. Based on the marking of the missile, he assumed that it was a 5B55 anti-aircraft guided missile of the S300 anti-aircraft missile system.

Investigations are ongoing at the site of the discovery.

In addition, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentin Reznichenko reported that the Armed Forces shot down a Russian Orlan-10 drone in the sky over the Dnipropetrovsk Region.

At the time of the downing, the UAV was flying over Kryvorizkyі district.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers inflicted significant losses on the occupiers when they tried to advance in the directions of Hryhorivka, Spirny, and Ivano-Daryivka. The enemy retreated.
