Russian invaders want to restore the airfield in occupied Melitopol – intelligence

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the invaders are trying to restore the runway of the airfield at the former base of the 25th transport aviation brigade.

This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to their data, for this, the Russians partially restored the capacity of the Monolith Plus concrete production plant.

However, it is unlikely that the runway will be fully repaired and operational in the near future.

– After all, technologically, such works require 21-28 days for the concrete to gain the necessary strength and be able to withstand the load of aircraft and other equipment without losing its properties. The occupiers plan to use the capacities of the concrete plant to strengthen the defense lines by creating long-term firing points on a reinforced concrete base, – the intelligence said.

In addition, in Melitopol, in the area of ​​the elevator, the presence of an enemy freight train was established. It consists of eight covered freight carriages with the inscription agro-frigate. They are loaded with grain crops. Carriages are planned to be illegally exported to the territory of the Russian Federation.

The State Security Service added that the building, which housed the structural unit of the State Security Service in Melitopol, is used to house detained Ukrainian citizens. There is evidence that detainees are tortured.

Recently, it was also reported that in Melitopol, Russian invaders are threatening to deport residents who do not come to the “referendum”.
