The Armed Forces forced the occupiers to retreat in the East and South of Ukraine – General Staff

On the 160th day of the full-scale invasion, the Russians were defeated in the East and South of Ukraine.
The occupiers did not retreat only in the Sloviansk direction. Only thanks to the fact that active hostilities did not take place.
There, the Russian invaders shelled the districts of Kurulki, Hrushuvaha, Chepel, Karnaukhivka, Dolyna and Barvinkovo and carried out an airstrike near Dibrivny.
Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the Russians to retreat with fire damage after separate units of the Russian army advanced in the areas of the settlements of Bayrak and Dementiivka in the Kharkiv direction.
The Russian invaders also retreated after unsuccessful assaults near Ivano-Daryivka in the Kramatorsk direction.
Ukrainian defenders repelled the assault of the occupiers in the areas of Yakovlivka, Vershyn, Kodema, and Travnevoy in the Bakhmut direction.
As of August 2, battles are taking place near Bakhmut and Zaitsevo.
The Russian troops withdrew after unsuccessful assaults in the Avdiyivka area in the Avdiyivskii direction.
Battles near Piski are still ongoing.
The Armed Forces neutralized a reconnaissance group of the Russian Federation that was trying to advance near Novopol in the direction of Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia.
The occupiers also had to retreat after an unsuccessful assault in the area of Trudolyubivka in the Southern Buzka direction.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 160th day.
