The supplies went through Poland: Bulgaria secretly sent 4,200 tons of weapons to Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, Bulgaria has transferred 4,200 tons of weapons to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Acting Minister of Economy of Bulgaria, Alexander Mykhaylov.
– During the first four months from the start of the war – until June 30, permits for the export of Bulgarian weapons worth one billion, €16 million were signed. During this four-month period, 4,200 tons of Bulgarian weapons were delivered to the Polish airport near the border with Ukraine, – he noted.
Mykhaylov claims that he has documents to prove his words, but he did not show them.
Mykhaylov’s statements were made against the background of the words of the former Minister of Economy Cornelia Ninova. She noted that not a single weapon was transferred to Ukraine under her signature.
The acting official emphasized that she did not sign permits for the export of weapons worth more than a million euros.
In June, the Bulgarian parliament refused military support to Ukraine at the request of the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria, Vitaly Moskalenko. The head of the government of the Republic Kyrylo Petkov said that Bulgaria will support Ukraine with humanitarian aid.
