Let the Russians think that they reacted: Reznikov on the plans of the Armed Forces in the south
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiі Reznikov says that the military-political leadership has not announced a counteroffensive in the south.
In an interview with Ukrainska Pravda, he urged not to guess about the strategic plans of the General Staff, waiting for certain actions of the Armed Forces, and not to talk about the military, so as not to play into the hands of the enemy.
The newspaper’s journalist told the minister that the de-occupation has already been announced. And the military themselves say that the main blow of the counteroffensive will be from the south.
At the same time, Reznikov replied that they had not announced such a thing. He explained that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would free the entire sea lane in the south.
The interviewer also recalled that the occupiers had withdrawn significant forces to the south in recent weeks.
– Was it such a strategic idea to force them to transfer troops there or not very professional communication of the authorities to provoke reinforcement where we intend to advance? – he asked.
The head of the Ministry of Defense answered: And who said that we provoked?
– Now I will be forced to explain the plan to you, but I definitely won’t do it. After all, you do not know what is actually in the strategic plan and where? Let the Russians believe that they reacted, – Reznikov added.
